As the world pays increasing attention to environmental issues, in order to implement corporate social responsibility, Billion Group (3027) participated in the TCSA Taiwan Corporate Sustainability Awards for the first time this year (encouraging companies to improve the quality of corporate sustainability issues and the amount of governance information disclosed), and won the Best Sustainability Report Electronic Information Manufacturing Industry - Category 2 "Gold Level" Award. The group has always maintained a proactive attitude towards sustainable operations and strictly requires the implementations earlier than regulations. Our company begins to introduce ISO 14064- 1 Greenhouse gas inventory in 2023 and start putting in manpower to write ESG reports in 2022, demonstrating the group's determination and intention to promote sustainable management, information disclosure, and environmental performance and continue to fulfill our corporate responsibilities to customers, supply chain, environment, and society. This year, we actively promote PCR product category rules and carbon reduction path planning for communication products, and we will continue to introduce product carbon footprint, TCFD, and other requirements next year.

Billion Electric is more active in promoting social participation activities and jointly organized the Star Seed Project with Xindian district Beixin Elementary School to let children understand the importance of renewable energy and encourage every child to become a guardian of green energy. In conjunction with the professional capabilities of BillionWatts and VGwatt Energy under the group,  Billion Electric promotes the ESG concept to become a force in society and jointly solve the country’s environmental challenges. Chairman Tim Chen said that in addition to the substantial growth in economic performance this year, surpassing last year, the global climate has experienced extreme changes, diverse ecosystems have been severely persecuted, and resource shortages have become increasingly severe. Our unchanging determination is to continue contributing to the sustainable development goals set by the United Nations. In addition to providing PV power stations and ESS construction services, Billion Group plays a key role in promoting renewable energy and net-zero carbon reduction. We began to invest actively in corporate-related ESG governance two years ago. This year, BillionWatts, a subsidiary of the group, won the "Gold Award" for the first time participating in the selection of “Taiwan's Happy Enterprises”, in the technology research and development category.
