Billion Watts and Noodoe launch a solar-storage-charging integrated base at their Yilan demonstration site, combining solar power, energy storage, and EV charging to showcase the export potential of MIT-developed green energy systems.

MIT Energy Integration in Action: Demonstration Site as a Launchpad for Global Deployment

Billion Watts, the energy integration division of Billion Electric Co. (TWSE: 3027), has partnered with global EV charging platform leader Noodoe to launch a fully integrated solar-storage-charging demonstration site at the Billion Group’s Yilan campus. The site serves as a testbed for MIT-based green energy integration solutions and plays a strategic role in Billion Watts’ behind-the-meter (BTM) applications and international market expansion.


The project brings together Billion Watts’ engineering expertise in solar-storage-charging integration, with system-level support from group-wide hardware and software resources, including Noodoe’s EV charger management and payment platform. Designed as a grid-connected, behind-the-meter solution, the system enables peak shaving and off-peak load shifting through real-time networking, while its EMS platform dynamically adjusts storage dispatch strategies based on load profiles to optimize energy efficiency.

Smart Energy Management Enables Real-Time Optimization

The site features a 33kW rooftop solar system equipped with 340W high-efficiency modules and a high-voltage configuration to enhance generation performance while minimizing installation costs. At its core is the Fusio One liquid-cooled modular energy storage system, locally manufactured by the Billion Group, offering a standalone capacity of 215kWh with modular scalability.


The system is paired with 7kW and 22kW AC chargers, centrally managed via Noodoe’s EMS platform for unified cloud integration, load control, and performance monitoring. Designed to support full daily charging for two EVs, the solution uses smart energy scheduling and time-of-use pricing to minimize peak-hour grid reliance and reduce electricity bills—demonstrating the operational and economic value of an integrated solar-storage-charging system.

We believe this demonstration site can serve as a replicable model for scalable, remotely managed smart energy infrastructure.”

The Billion Fusio One 100kW/215kWh modular storage system, paired with inverters and Noodoe EV chargers, demonstrates Billion Watts’ real-world system integration capabilities at its Yilan demonstration site.

From Demonstration to Global Deployment: Proven Integration and Field Readiness

In addition to its role as a domestic technology showcase, the site also functions as a remote operations and maintenance (O&M) support hub. Should overseas deployments experience faults or require logic updates, the Billion Watts team can simulate and troubleshoot scenarios on-site—improving service efficiency and reducing operational risks and debugging costs. This delivers on the vision of “developed in Taiwan, deployed worldwide.”
